SIMA offers five membership types to ensure inclusivity and alignment with the professional journey of internal medicine practitioners and supporters.
Full Membership
Open to Somali citizens with advanced qualifications in internal medicine (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent).
Associate Membership
Open to non-Somali certified specialists in internal medicine who wish to contribute to SIMA’s mission.
Corporate Membership
Open to medical organizations, hospitals, universities, or companies that support SIMA’s objectives.
Student Membership
Available to postgraduate students currently enrolled in internal medicine programs.
Honorary Membership
Awarded to distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to medicine or healthcare in Somalia or globally.
